Meet D. Duckie Rodriguez, who is a producer/writer and also played “Richard”.
Duckie started in entertainment as a stage actor and live performer, appearing in shows such as “Little Shop of Horrors”, “The Crucible”, and performing in a Rocky Horror revue as well as spending a few years with Orlando's famous haunted attraction “Terror on Church Street”.
In 2008 he made the transition to film. Since then he's been in several features and short films, including “Of Dice and Men: The Musical” (2013), “Harbinger” (2014), Predatory Moon (2016), “The Figure” (2016), and One Night of Fear (2016).
He directed a few short films and the feature film Psycho Chicks Anonymous (2010). He also works as a stunt coordinator and special effects technician.
Duckie and Shiva Rodriguez are an award-winning screenwriting team, having penned several short and feature screenplays over the past decade. They wrote both “The Family Way: Coming Home” and the feature screenplay for The Family Way.
